Make a Ribbon Planting Calendar

With the weather warming up, it's time to put those seeds in the ground while spring is in full swing... if only you could remember what to plant when.

But with a little ingenuity, you can easily turn a small space on your wall into a simple planting calendar. Find some ribbon and some clothespins, and arrange your seed packets by month. By hanging this handy "calendar" in your potting shed or garage (make sure it's a space that stays relatively cool and shaded), you'll always see at a glance which seeds you should be sowing next.
