San Francisco Chronicle

If you're planning on expanding your edible garden this year, you're not alone. According to research sponsored by the Garden Writers Association, 37% of households surveyed are planning to do the same thing. In 2010 seed producers are predicting which seeds will be most popular. Seed pioneer Renee Shepherd of Felton, has a few favorite picks: the 'Spanish Padron' pepper, and Amsterdam Seasoning' celery.
