Garrett Murray's LA Master Bedroom Home Office for 2

DeskTops

Having a multi-functional home office is always a bonus, especially when it can be used as a guest room, living room, and also an office for two. This usually requires space, which is why Garrett Murray turned his master bedroom into a home office for two. The added square footage allowed him to make an expansive setup, for both himself and his wife.

The last time we mentioned Garrett Murray, a mobile app developer, and his setup, he was living in Brooklyn. It's been about 7 months and he relocated in Los Angeles with his wife Stacey. The most intriguing part of their setup is that they decided to turn the master bedroom of their new place into a home office for two, allowing both husband and wife ample space to work in. That combined with the tasteful decor, makes this an impressive home office, one that most likely everyone can enjoy.

Many of the things that we loved about his previous home office have been included in his new one, but ultimately we like how multi-functional this setup it. They've put an HDTV in there, as well as a sofa, which doubles as a bed for guests, making it a great place to spend lots of hours in. The sumptuous Room & Board Anders Media Cabinet holds home theater gear as well as video game consoles. While some of the furniture, which Garrett considers more of an investment, is somewhat expensive (Herman Miller Airia $2,199, Room & Board Anders Media Cabinet $2,299) not all of them are. They end up looking well together.

Garrett has also replaced his MacBook Pro with a new iMac. His mobile needs are not taken care of by a new MacBook Air. His wife has a 27-inch Apple Cinema Display at home to plug in her own MacBook Air. The home office takes advantage of a lot of natural lighting, thanks to the three windows, but the Joe Manus Pendant Lamp from Anthropologie and the Carbon Floor Lamp from CB2 light up the room when it's dark. The Toto Cube Lamp also doubles as a coffee table.
