I was recently checking out the furnishings made by woodworker Gary Weeks and fell hard for the Berry Bar Stool. There's a particular detail about it that really sealed the deal:
Besides the Berry Bar Stool's wonderful shape and simple design, check out this ingenious, thoughtful little detail:
The rungs of the stool are at one height in the "front" and another height in the "back" (the stool is otherwise 100% reversible). That varied rung height allows the stool to be turned one way for adult seating and the opposite way for children. This just drives home that this piece is made to last through the years and through many different ways of use.
Prices start at $650 per stool.
