You can't beat the look and smell of fresh flowers at the center of the table. What we can do without is having to replace them ($$) when they get old and wilted. Many are taking up fake scented flowers in their homes, but we prefer these for a really geeky touch.

These Mario-replica Fire Flowers are made from scraps of laminate flooring from Etsy seller pixelparty's kitchen.

pseuderanthemum incendia, or fire flower of the acanthaceae family of flowering plants is found wild in many places around worlds 1-2 and 4-2, and is cultivated in mysterious boxes as far as world 8-3. i'ts best to look for fire flowers when you are feeling super - they're hard to see if you're feeling down, but some mushrooms might help.

Your first flower is $30 and each additional flower is $20. It's pricey to start with, but when you consider that you'll never have to buy fresh flowers again, it's well worth it. Plus, you can't put a price on being the geekiest gamer on the block! Just ask the blogger at Making It Lovely (Who put the flowers in their home office, check it out!).

Pick them up here at pixelparty's Etsy shop.
