The idea of painting up a patch of wall with chalkboard paint isn't a new one by any means, but this brightly colored geometric twist on new things makes us excited about the idea all over again.
Over at Arch Daily we ran across this fabulous school in The Netherlands that's packed with all sorts of design ideas, but the easiest to recreate at home is this brightly colored chalk board wall.
If cutting wooden shapes to attach to the wall isn't your idea of a good time, you could always try blocking off the squares and laying out the color and chalkboard sections with paint alone. It should all wash clean with a damp towel and makes the traditional large wall of black a bit more fun!
