Fun, colorful mugs lighten my mood with my morning coffee... and they take up no more cupboard space than plain ones! (I tend to go for Asian themes with metallic gold trim...)
I always admire interesting mugs but I've never owned any. I only have two kinds of mugs: the clear Bodum glass mugs, and very large white ceramic mugs I bought for $1 a piece at Walgreen's (among my best purchases ever, given how durable they are and how much coffee they hold!).
