We hope you're not actually laboring on Labor Day, but if you are an important area of your home to spruce up this time of year is your child's workspace. Get their school year off to an organized start with an inviting, functional space to hunker down for studying, writing or doing artwork.
Every child needs a spot, in their bedroom or elsewhere in the house, where they can work - whether that work is assigned schoolwork or penning the next great American novel. A workspace can be as sparse and uncluttered as a plain desk and chair or it can be filled with tools and implements close at hand.
Let them help decide what their workspace looks like. Above are fifteen examples to help you get started.

Thanks for these! This is on our to do list for this month. Love the long desk at Pioneer woman!
What happened to clearing of a space on the kitchen table?
Yeah, I too l love the long desk that lines the length of the bedroom. All of them are great. I know I loved having a little nook when I was a kid where I could draw, write and do the occasional homework.
