It's almost here - our annual search for the smallest coolest home in the world, 2010-style! This year, we'll be looking for submissions of homes under 1000 square feet from anywhere across the country (in our size-specific divisions) and beyond (in our international division). We're gearing up for the launch and hope you are too - if you are thinking about entering, it's never to early to get out the camera and start snapping!

Aww man. I totally want to submit the apartment I live in RIGHT NOW. But I move out of it on April 1st. And my new place won't be contest worthy for a while.

I'm so inspired by all the small living spaces you feature. I've snagged several photos that I'd like to implement in my new abode. I plan on being in a 30' yurt (703 sq ft) by this time next year so maybe I'll get to compete, too! I assume loft space adds to the square footage? Any yurties on here who'd like to pass along their creative design solutions?

It would be great to highlight families with children who manage to live in small spaces!
