White Enamel Flatwa...
Whats hilarious is in AZ (where Im from) alot of people do the southwest theme but in peach, stone and teal colors! I was scared when I first saw the title, but this is all very tasteful and understated.
I also own one of those horn magnifying glasses, but I bought mine from z-gallery for $15!
Great post. Nice sophisticated interpretation of the style. No pink adobe or katchina dolls in sight!
What makes #2, Southwest?
I like the natural colors but totally understand the peach and teal after seeing the sunsets here in Arizona. Those colors are also on some Navajo pottery.
If you are really interested in Southwest decor I strongly recommend supporting local Native artists (Tohono O'odham, Navajo, Hiaki, Hopi etc) and buying their craft to decorate. Well worth the expense.
The horn tumblers were available at Chapters before around Christmas 2011 for a lot less but I don't think they have them any more.
Agree with Tamarind re Native artists . . . .
