Get The Look: Suki's Minimal & Colorful Workstation

Sometimes we get a glimpse into the home of a stranger and it's a case of love at first sight. That's what's so great about home decor — it's a direct reflection of the occupant's personality. When we saw the workstation of Suki from Varpunen we immediately fell in love with the space and we're assuming, Suki as well.

The first thing that caught our attention was how clean and absolutely clutter free the workstation is. The cords from the iMac are swept aside and don't show beneath the desk (something we strive for in our own home office). The basics are left to be displayed on the desktop; a mug full of pens, a vase full of flowers and a jar most likely filled with something innocent like paper clips! The point is, the essentials are there — they just look much more important because they're all so beautiful.

The desk is a straight forward white tabletop on top of white sawhorses. This is such an easy look to achieve either through a little DIY or by simply purchasing one at any major retailer. We found a great one at Crate and Barrel for under $200.

Get This Look:

1. Apple iMac
2. Add color and interest to your space with your favorite prints. A great source is Society 6!
3. GILBERT Stool is very similar to the one pictured, but with a square seat.
4. Sawhorse Desk
5. A similar and slightly more rustic option to Suki's blue basket is the Oval Mesa Bin. If you're looking for something a little more modern, we really love the black and white striped Rugby Bin.
