Israeli design group O*GE conceptualized their "Giant Birdsnest For Creating New Ideas" as a social space that bridges the gap between play equipment and furniture. The big nest measures about 14.5 feet in diameter and accommodates up to 16 people.

The images from the O*GE Creative Group suggest that the birdsnest can function as a spot for napping, taking meetings or play. Three sizes have been developed and are available for purchase (no word on pricing). The exterior of the nest is made of cardboard, and the interior is textile-lined and filled with pillows. Our first thought: Pygar's nest in Barbarella. Is that good or bad? Our second thought: who has the space?

Shaw's Original Fir...
This reminds of the nest at Wieden and Kennedy's Portland office.
Reminded me of the hilarious Portlandia sketch about the nest at Wieden and Kennedy's...

16 people? I definitely would have wanted this when I was single!
Please tell me the etsy office - umm, 'creative space' - has one already.
the lamp!! the lamp!! what is the name of the lamp?
Huh? All I see is a picture of a lonely-looking soul being swallowed by pillows, followed by an image of three uncomfortable-looking people trying to work around a precariously balanced laptop.
That's a uh...BIG desk lamp. Am I the only one who noticed that before the nest?
Hasn't that whole "giant cushy chartreuse bird's nest in an office" thing been done to death?
Maybe in the kids' section of a big public library or school...
Otherwise, meh.
