This is from some time ago, but the giant wall calendar still has lots of visual appeal.
Free People put this together with scrap paper and yarn for keeping their whole office organized, but it would work to organize a household or individual, too. If your holiday schedule is as crowded as we suspect, even a giant calendar will fill up quickly!

Commercial Flour Sa...
The chalkboard calendar is gorgeous. The yarn and scrap paper one, not so much.
Yeah, I'm not feeling it.
I'm getting the opposite of visual appeal.
All this does is remind you of how you have nothing interesting to do.
I absolutely adore free people. But I could only tolerate a calendar this big if it were in a designated office space... hard to relax when you're staring at everything you need to do, blown up to mega-proportions.
Sorry for being a scrooge... I'm having trouble understanding the obsession with calendars I'm seeing on nearly every design blog. I understand that "tis the season", but when it comes down to it, I believe most people either throw all their appointments onto their e-calendar or jot things down in a simple agenda book.
Also, how do you keep track of months ahead with such a large calendar?
Huh. Total potential with the yarn, but otherwise this could use a makeover.
