Now that I'm a mother, I find an irresistible and dangerous pull to give my children things I always wanted but never had. On my list of things that fulfill my own childhood dreams? A drum set (check), bunk bed (next year), and oversized stuffed animal.

Marina of Maminas has created the most inspiring giant stuffed cat for her children. Her babies talk to it, lounge on it, read with it, and sleep with it. What a sweet friend. I'm feeling very inspired to make one for . . . erm . . . my kids. Yeah, it's for them I promise.
