Some items just don't store well. We usually use basic brown kraft paper and ribbon for wrapping gifts, but we receive many of our gifts in gift bags. We recently received a whole bunch for our daughter's birthday and were debating about just how to store them for reuse.
Above is pretty much the only storage solution made just for the gift bags. It looks like a garment bag, and it holds up to 150 bags. Not sure we'll ever get that many, but we definitely could relate to the copy on the Target website,
"Do you like to recycle gift bags––or keep a supply of them on hand––but just don't know where to store them? Are you tired of opening a closet or cupboard door only to have dozens of gift bags spill out onto the floor?"
For now, we've got our flattened bags collected in a larger shopping bag in the closet. We removed the tissue, flattened that out and stored it in another bag. An upgrade would be storing them in a simple canvas tote, but that's probably about as far as we'll go. Any other ideas?
