We were thrilled to finally see Loyal Loot's log bowls in person at the Gift Fair! Surprisingly light-weight, the tiny bowls are hand-crafted from a variety of tree species (reclaimed from fallen and trimmed trees in the Alberta, Canada area) and finished with acrylic paints and a water-based gloss finish. Though the many colors are attractive too, we especially liked the unpainted versions...
Loyal Loot log bowls are fragile and NOT food safe. We can't wait to see Log Bowls at New York area retailers.

Fragile, not food safe -- what do you use them for?
I think they're cute. You could use them in the entry for keys or as a table centerpiece. I like the colours.
LOL! Log bowls...
They are so fantastic in person and will be available at Nest Interiors in Chelsea this spring.
I think a cluster of them in various colors would make a lovely centerpiece or table accent.
Have the endless antlers of cabin-fever decor now morphed into things made out of stumps? Further upstream, see fugly stump seating ...
Would be lovely pet feeders if they were food safe. And I would love a stump cat bed! Or go to the other end and use a stump to camoflage a litter box. (Maybe I should go over to Moderncat for a while...)
