The trend of fashionable yet functional tech accessories for gentlemen has long crossed from niche to mainstream, with a whole industry catering to gents looking for more timeless and fashionable options beyond "businessman style" or "geek-functionality". There's now a plethora of products made by artisans, craftsman, and boutique companies dedicated to producing accessories designed to age more gracefully than the tech devices they protect or accessorize. And you know gift giving season is looming just around the corner...

Hex Academy Core Case for iPhone 5:
Not only will your iPhone 5 be better protected inside this water resistant waxed reverse denim wrapped case, the Academy Core provides much improved grip, while also giving the device a relaxed fashionably functional veneer. $34.95

Incase iPhone 5 Leather Snap Case:
Subtle and sophisticated, the genuine leather wrapped iPhone should age with a unique patina created by the oils on your hand and by the rate you handle your device. If you love the smell of leather goods, you'll love this case. Available in both black and brown for $49.95.

Puur Co. iPhone Wallet Case:
A combination of subtle-soft German light grey 100% Merino wool and vegetable-tanned leather, the hand-stitched wallet+iPhone 5 sleeve is made and imported directly from Prague, Czech Republic. €29.00

DODOcase iPhone Wallet:
Super durable waxed duck canvas and mahogany leather...the combination evokes the image of classic outdoorsman gear. DODOcase describes their iPhone Wallet as "business on the outside, party on the inside", with a vibrant orange-poppy cotton interior, further hinting at the hunting gear heritage. $49.95

Owen & Fred Wood Back iPhone Cases:
Real walnut, cherry, maple, and rosewood finishes for the iPhone 4 and 4s all lend a warmer appearance to Cupertino's last generation iPhone (versions for the iPhone 5 are undoubtedly on the horizon). Not cheap, but neither is the attention to detail here. $89.00

Quantum iPhone Wallet:
Each wallet is made with calf skin leather piece, hand cut and sewn together with white contrast stitching and individually hand painted in blue, white, or black. Inside, 1 card slots, 1 slip pocket, and 1 iPhone pocket appeal to the gentleman who travels light, but with the necessities.

HEX Drake Duffel:
The Drake Duffel carries itself as a notably handsome traditional carry-all on the outside. But look inside the herringbone wool bag and an assortment of storage options for phone, laptop, tablet, and all your travel accessories are offered for the discerning traveler who would rather keep his tech hidden from view. $99.95

Jack Spade Luggage Nylon Laptop Briefcase :
This no-nonsense laptop bag looks straight out of the latest catalog of J. Crew, with sturdy nylon protecting on the outside and cotton twill lining on the inside. Accommodates for up to a 15" laptop, with an adjustable leather-detailed shoulder strap. $425.00

Herschel Supply Co. Heritage Computer Sleeve 11", 13", 15" Laptops:
Complementary to the Jack Spade styling above, but with a price I can actually afford myself (I just bought one of their wallets and can attest they're well constructed). The fleece lined, fully padded laptop sleeve keeps everything snug, while looking great with a grey canvas against brown leather colorway design. $44.99

Hekseskudd iPad Writing Desk:
I don't think I could yet give up the laptop and make the iPad my sole computing device, but there's no doubt some people would be absolutely fine relying upon a tablet and Bluetooth keyboard as a secondary or travel work setup. This custom black walnut dock tray is designed with extended time using the iPad in mind, offering the ergonomics of a laptop. $139.00

The Good Flock x OUR LEGACY iWooly:
A special collection of Italian Tweed, Italian Felted Wool and Harris Tweed iWooly's for iPhone4, iPad, MacBook 13" and 15" MacBook Pros, each piece is lined with Pendleton Eco-Wise wool, sustainably harvested tagua nuts and vegetable tanned leather. Stylish and sustainable! Contact for prices/availability.

Hard Graft Tilt iPad Case 3.0:
Like the device it's designed to accessorize, premium leather goods maker Hard Graft keeps updating and tweaking the design of their convertible iPad case, improving fit, finish and function each time. Three adjustable positions designed for "typing, surfing and watching" makes the Tilt suitable for travel indoor and out. £85.00

Ultrasone Edition 10 Headphones:
Ultrasone made only 2010 of these oversized premium edition headphones. Super cushy looking perforated Ethiopian brown long hair sheep leather and Zebrano wood are merged with 40mm titanium-plated drivers, a 99.99% pure copper and silver cable with premium shielding. These are all about exclusivity as much as performance, and the matching display stand spells out owners will show this off on or off the head. $2749.00

Apolis x Fisher AG7 Space Pen:
As a kid, I always wanted one of these "space pens" or "astronaunt's pens". And here's an updated and finely finished edition: an American made, Apolis co-branded, Fisher AG7 Space Pen in brass and chrome finish, designed to work with or without the presence of gravity anti-gravity, thanks to nitrogen pressurized ink cartridges; sign those checks in space, underwater, upside down, or in any extreme condition. $58.00

Restoration Hardware Roll Up Traveler:
It's too bad this travel accessory kit for charging up devices is no longer available (I've been notified it is available again for $49.00), because it was the only rugged, yet fashionable looking charging option I could find. BUT, a dedicated DIY'er could possibly fashion their own edition using a piece of stitched leather and one of these USB charging tubes. $34.99

Freshly Picked Leather Mouse Pad:
I ordered one of these leather mouse pads immediately upon spotting them online and have loved it ever since. Handmade and available in neon yellow, neon pink/red, neon purple, gold, white and more stately charcoal. $35.00

Lomography Belair X 6-12 Jetsetter:
For the gent who still prefers the delayed gratification of X-Pro Slide 200 film over Instagram and digital photos, the metal and brown leather combination is sure to woo and wow passerby's every time you pull this Lomography camera out to capture the moment. $209.30

Gold & Co. iPhone 5 24KT Gold and Rose Gold iPhone 5:
Totally ridiculous in price and questionable in taste out in public. Yet somehow I love the idea of a fully rose gold finished exterior iPhone 5 that would shine like brand new penny. $4,380

White Enamel Four-P...
This is more like the Apartment Therapy iPhone Gift Guide. I love my iPhone, don't get me wrong, but six iPhone cases do not significantly contribute to a gift guide.
What is that skin or case on the white IPhone pictured in the DoDo wallet picture?
@Christian Hariot - it's likely the DODOcase BOOKback, a peel and stick adhesive back.
So bummed that none of the options will fit a 17'' laptop. I am having a hell of a time finding an attractive case (read: not plain black) for that size. :(
Beautiful stuff, and I love all the non-i-related items! ;)
Seriously, though, I know I'm not the only not-Apple out there. There are still people who make items for us, yes?
Great post! Sometimes it can be so hard to buy for a guy, and these are some great ideas.
why are these considered gentleman's gifts, because there is no pink? a lot of these items i would buy for myself...
I absolutely love all of these, and while for sure they'd be good for a gentleman, us ladies out here covet this sort of stuff too! Seriously though, there's so amazing finds here. Now if only I had an iphone...

12South makes the best and most beautiful iPhone wallet case I have yet seen. And their laptop case of the same name is sublime. I love mine.

I'm a lady, but the Drake duffel is the best laptop bag I've owned in forever. There's room for my tablet, laptop, chargers, notebooks, portable drives, and more. The gray herringbone is always classic and fitting for pretty much any setting.
