I just got a rendering of my childhood home done for my mom for Christmas from here: http://www.jennifermdesign.com and now feel like I got a bargain! ($55 for 5 x 7). Also, according to her Etsy shop, Rebekka Seale is not taking orders until further notice.

My dad actually made a pen-and-watercolor picture of my house for me. Gave it to me for Christmas about 2 months after I moved it. it's wonderful!
I like the third -- the style of the first two strikes me as a bit precious, but to each his own. It's a good idea, but only if well executed.
I had Rebekka Seale do a portrait of my house- and I love it. She was so lovely to work with and she really captured my home. This is an adorable gift for someone- or for yourself! Another idea along the same lines- my sister takes a photo of the street signs for each road she has lived on. She frames tthe photos and hangs them in her next house. Great idea.
These are all so beautiful. It reminds me of Amy doing the Orchard House portrait in "Little Women." :)

I LOVE Rebekka Seale's illustrations. I have one of the very first house portraits she did and I'm so glad they have become so popular! She is an absolute pleasure to work with! I've been waiting to be able to give one as a house warming present because I can't imagine receiving anything more special!
