Whenever possible, I love shopping local, especially with classy, independent artisans. In the Pacific Northwest, we are lucky enough to have some of the most talented designers on the market. I rounded up some of my favorite modern homegoods from the good old P.N. for gift ideas this holiday season (plus, I have to admit I own some of these myself). We'd love to hear about some of your own local favorites!
Clockwise from top left:
1. Modern, melamine Grid Tray from Seattle-based husband and wife duo Piano Nobile. Perfect for all of those holiday treats! $40
2. From Portland, Oregon, Nell & Mary makes some amazing prints. I picked up one of these pillows the other day! $64 - $82
3. You would definitely have to know the person you were getting this for pretty well to add such a huge statement piece to their home. Or you could just grab it for yourself! From Eugene, Oregon, Wall Star Graphics makes some great accents in a variety of styles. This Diamond Circle Abstract Pattern is $195 for 3 panels.
4. Another Seattle local, Soraam makes this doily linen Burgundy placemat for an elegant tablescape (cupcakes not included). $68 for a set of four.

I looooove Nell & Mary. They were down at a Unique LA event several months ago and their designs are beautiful and the quality is fantastic. The Patagonia placemats w/napkins and ostrich pillow are on my wish list for the holidays.
I am from NYC so I love the following Etsy Shops in the New England area: Stepanka Ceramics in New York, New York, dirtsa studio.com, from Somerset, New Jersey, and {me}longings in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Truly standouts on Etsy!
