I recently found this and thought it was genius for artist kids - just as long as they don't have strong attachments to their art. :)
$12 for chalk, $25 for MOMA pencils? That's more about unnecessary design packaging for adults than giving to kids. As someone who has children I recommend you spend $12 on a huge tub of crayola chalk. And I won't even go there about those pencils. A special shame on you, MOMA.
Ok for once I'll agree with an art for kids post- ink stamps are the BOMB for little (old enough not to try to eat them!) kids. SO much fun. I mean, you could give a kid a pack of post its, ink and a stamp and come back 5 hours later. Kids LOVE stamps. I do to ha!
