In this time of abundance, I think this roundup comes at a particularly good moment. It's a great reminder that toys can be fun and educational too, and even involve the whole family. There are great inspirations for how to get the most out of those winter hours indoors, and brilliant ideas that take their cue from the Montessori, Waldorf, and homeschooling crews. Whether you're a tiger mom or have more of a laissez faire attitude, there's truly something for everyone here and I can't wait to get cracking on a few of these in our house!
