I am an interior decorator by trade and we moved into this 3 bedroom rental home just last year. I am inspired by old, weathered things that have a story. I love the effect of lighting in a space, mood lighting with chandeliers, lamps, candelabras, fireplaces.
I find inspiration everywhere - in nature, cinema, antique shops, art, books and music. I love scavenging for treasures in antique markets, flea-markets, garage sales, consignment shops, thrift shops and even dollar stores!

I didn't think I'd like this post because I don't care for white except as an accent but this home is truly warm and inviting. Those beautiful windows in the living room are wonderful. I want to jump on that bed and take a nap..ZZZZZZZ

The view in the round table picture looks really pretty!
I love it, but sooo feminine. My hockey loving, weight lifting, Italian Stallion would not be himself in this environment. It is a stretch as it is in my 1930's vintage bungalow.
I saw the picture before I read it was in High Point and thought, "This looks like houses around here!" I live 15 minutes away! :) Especially love the bedroom - I hope I can find a ruffle-y bedskirt like that.
