Giulio and Olivia's Shared Space

My Room

Name: Giulio & Olivia (21 months and 7 months)
Location: Parma, Italy

This room was originally just for our first son. Then we had baby number two, so we wanted to create a comfortable and bright nest for both of them, keeping the right mix of both masculine and feminine.

I usually love a neutral and light palette for our home, but for our kids' room I wanted to add some more colors to create a more vivid atmosphere. We did that with the help of some IKEA rugs, a little Pantone chair, vintage toys, three Sprouts bins, letters, paintings and other little accessories.

Since the room is quite small we kept all of the furniture white. We also collected letters from every trip we have been on and used them in the room. One of my favorite things are the bird houses, so I'm now collecting them as well. I think the polka dot wall helps to keep the whole room cute and cozy.
