We blogged about the idea of bathing the kids outside almost exactly one year ago, but with a string of hot days on the way, we thought we'd remind you of this fun and simple idea.

We succeeded in giving the kids a bath outdoors several times last summer but want to do it more frequently this summer as long as the weather cooperates. This does require a little bit of pre-planning. I leave our two metal tubs stacked by the back door with a small bottle of soap and some bath toys. Fill the tub up and let the sun warm the water a bit before putting the kids in. I usually grab a glass of iced tea and put my feet up while they soak and splash.
