Filling our homes with tech related items always seems to cause a certain amount of visual clutter. We're not sure what the difference between real life and these paintings by Dane Lovett, but somehow they feel restful, nostalgic and dare we say, peaceful.

Dane is based out of Melbourne, Australia and his website and Flickr both bring worlds of inspiration. Maybe his paintings are a great way to incorporate old favorite models of tech without keeping them around, or maybe you just like the clean lines and cool feel they'd bring to a space. They personally remind us of the years we spent editing out commercials from live tv recordings and the hours we spent making mix tapes for loved ones, or even for ourselves. A fine art that almost feels lost in the days of a Genius playlist and DVR.

Make sure to keep an eye on Dane as we're pretty sure he won't be running out of old or vintage tech to paint anytime soon! You can find the works above, along with a few more from his site. Make sure to check them out for sure.
