Design is fun. The designers behind D-Bros say that they want to produce products that convey that message. Satoru Miyata and Minako Nakaoka started the D-Bros project is 1995 in Tokyo. They design accessories of all types, with a strong graphic design slant. Our favorites are the glasses, such as the Fairytale in a Glass shown here and the others below the jump...

We love that these are clever and pretty. The concept of fun clearly comes across, with the trickery of light and shadow and the translucency of glass playing a role in the design of these pieces.

For instance, the wolf grows to frightening proportions when viewed through a full water glass...

They are wildly expensive (starting at $75), but we thought they were worth a look for inspiration and to add a little whimsy to the front page today...
