So how do we sprinkle some glitter magic into our decor without going off the deep end and glittering an entire wall? Or our shoes? If we have kids, the answer is so easy: add some glitter to their room. You can get away with all kinds of crazy in a kid's room! All of these glitter items are small, but dense, to give you maximum bang for your buck. Do your kids love glitter as much as mine?

Nomade Express Slee...
OMG, no more glitter please!! Glitter is everywhere in my house thanks to my 4 yr old daughter. I also have a 7 months old who practially glitters all the time.
Glitter is harder to get rid of than bed bugs or in-laws.
This is actually a terrible idea... glitter gets everywhere and once your little ones start to move and touch everything you can basically guarantee that you will forever be picking glitter out of their clothes, hands, hair, carpet, sheets, dolls, diapers - anything you can think of.
My first thought was it must be dangerous for their eyes. It's a good thing I'm not a parent: I'd be overprotective.
I love the lamp with the gold sequins inside!
And for those that worry about loose glitter, I used to be in your camp. The trick is to mix glitter with Modge Podge or swipe a coat of Modge Podge over the top of the finished product, either way it seals the glitter in. I've glittered a purse, some vases and a headband and nary a wayward bit of glitter has been found. In fact, it's kind of hard to get it off! I tried to remove a bit of the dried glitter/ MP off the the interior of the purse and I had to get out a butter knife and scrape it.
"I like to do crafts. I work with glitter quite a bit. Don't worry, I make tough stuff like daggers and skulls. The thing about glitter is, if you get it on you, be prepared to have it on you forever 'cause glitter is the herpes of craft supplies."

I didn't link through to prove it, but the first one looks like glitter scrapbook paper, which is pretty stable. (Doesn't shed much.)
But I love the lampshade the most, too. Glitzy!!

Glitter and mod podge is definitely the way to go!!!!
i don't know that joseph albers would approve of these
The minute kids are able to make choices for themselves, they choose glitter, so you may as well get started early in the nursery.
