We can't help but like gnomes. Before they were travel company spokespersons and kitschy lawn ornaments they had a mystique to match woodland fairies and unicorns. They are nearly restored to their former glory in this decidedly non-kitschy nightlight.

Ack, I really like this (and the owl one they have now too) but not in porcelain. Not for my crazy 3.5 year old. Dangit. Maybe I'll buy it and hold it in reserve for when he's old enough to not throw it around. Hmm.

It's a bit freaky.
