Remember a few months back when I picked up what I claimed to be the most amazing laundry soap ever? Well, I still think it is (and am still working on the same bottle, by the way). I ended up loving the company so much that I had to see how things were made! I had no idea that I would soon enter the happiest place on Earth... no, really. Want to see behind the scenes at Zum? Well, almost 50 photos of handmade and packaged goods await you!

After testing out the Zum laundry soap that my family has now come to truly adore I had to see behind the scenes. The Zum website is full of goats and promises of happy people so a tour was scheduled and a week later my husband and I headed out to check out the inner workings of Indigo Wild and meet the Zum team.

When you exit your vehicle at the Zum building, you're immediately overwhelmed by the insane smells happening on the block. The entire area smelled amazing and any form of bad day blues that might have been plaguing us instantly vanished. We decided it was physically impossible to be stressed out or bummed when you're near Zum. It was Aromatherapy at its best!

Their facility is located in an old cold storage building that used to be an ice house back in the day. You enter into a small retail area where there are products on display to test and smell. If you happen to be local, you can stop in for some savings. The ends of their large milk soap bars retail for less and there's always something great in their barrels of odds and ends! A few steps more and you're front and center in the world of Zum production, packaging and shipping.

Their work environment is one everyone should be jealous of, with rescue dogs running around, music everywhere and laughter heard throughout the building. They were all warm and welcoming and were as friendly as their products were. Since that day, my husband and I both have changed almost every cleaning and body product in our home. Not just because they were nice (that's all well and good) but they clean without plaguing you with a scent that clears a room. (Even if you have practices that are hippie in nature, it doesn't mean you want to smell like one all day.) It's also made our skin so soft it's been worth the change. We could spend hours explaining our love for them, but in all reality you should just try them for yourselves.

Check out the tour and make sure to stop by their website if you don't have a store near you that carries their products. Check your local Whole Foods or health food stores, but online ordering is always a possibility (ps, all their holiday goods are BOGO right now online and in stores!).

(Thanks, Indigo Wild!)
