Glamping, or glamorous camping for those not familiar with the term, combines natural settings with luxurious accommodations and the prerequisite tent (although unlike any tent you or I have seen). The Four Seasons has gotten in on this trend with their all-inclusive tented camp in the Golden Triangle of Thailand. And this glamping adventure comes with elephants!
For those willing to shell out some serious dough, you will be able to stay in one of the fifteen tented accommodations and partake in daily activities such as mountain hikes, river excursions, elephant rides, mahout training and, of course, spa treatments. I agree.....Glamping? Beautiful place though.
Camping, to me, is a single layer of canvas, the calls of birds, the smell of dew, and campfires...and glamorous, to me, is bellboys, a silent elevator, a palmed pool, a perfect bed, and a breakfast buffet that takes your breath away.
Why combine them? Each has its own magic, and its own time.
And you can sleep beautifully in Thailand without "shelling out serious dough"....
To me it looks like Disney got involved.

Looks amazing but I just checked the rates. They start at about $2,000 a night!!!!!!!!
