Green is one of my all time favorite colors — and not only because it can be as eye popping or subtle as you want due to its extreme versatility. Green isn't just for crayons and kids room, so go for it!
If I were to imagine a kitchen with tall green cabinets, I can't say that I would immediately be jumping for joy and screaming success! However, after seeing how amazing and eye opening the color is in the kitchen — consider me a believer. I'm a huge lover of bright, all white kitchens, so that's actually saying quite a lot coming from me.
Green walls in the living room can add some serious sophistication, especially when paired with an additional color such as blue. Throw white in there to play referee and to ensure the room doesn't get too bogged down. If you're wanting something a tiny bit more subtle — paint a piece of accent furniture green. Maybe a bed side table or a bench in the entryway. You'll be surprised by how big of a difference it'll make!

Green is always the color I tend to gravitate to when deciding to add color to a room.
Wow, saving this post for sure.
Waving the green flag of jealousy at each and every one of these.
Green kitchens just make me think of Sybil.
That movie scarred me.
A green stove?!?!?! Really?!?!?!?! I LOVE IT!!! That was so refreshing! Too cute!!!!!
So glad I never watched Sybil, only read it. I love a real green, one that won't go gray or tan or pastel.
PS OT, movies can be such a drag that way. I wonder how many people can't shower at home alone after watching Psycho.
Fantastic kitchen!
I picked a bright green called Barnyard Grass to paint 2 campaign-style nightstands, a'la some Lonny inspiration.

I love 'em! And now I have to design a room around them...
Totally digging the retro green stove. The backsplash in my new rental kitchen is small green subway tile, so I'm thinking of using some other green accents to tie it together.
I honestly really dislike the use of green in the kitchen. The reflection of green on a plate of beautiful food can make it nauseating. Though, green in a living room?? Love. The second photo is my favorite.
I LOVE green! I painted my home office green and it's lovely. Behr Premium Plus Grasscloth.
The second photo is my favorite, too.
Great choice! As a kid, I grew up vacationing on the beaches of Florida where our family had a little spot with green-painted kitchen cabinets like these! It was so refreshing and reinvigorating to the soul to enter that kitchen each morning!
Combining it with white cabinetry as the owners above did, it looks superb!
