We are certainly no strangers to the talk of how wonderful the color gray is. There are so many different ways to incorporate this diverse color into the home but let's just focus strictly on the wall variety.
A mid-range gray wall paint in the living room can add a slightly traditional element to the space, especially with additional neutrals. For a more modern look a darker gray in a smaller space really goes a long way.
Textured wallpaper is always such a fantastic surprise and exudes luxury and romance — especially in gray. Use it on the wall behind the bed in the bedroom or in the dining room. Drama definitely won't be left out of things.

White Enamel Flatwa...
I am not normally a fan of gray walls, but I love that first room! Maybe it's all the wood and warm tones with it.
Every room in my house is painted a light grey with some accent walls for colour. Every colour, including the white trim, seems to look great with the grey. I'm a big fan. My colour is Silver Traditions by Behr.
I'm not big on accent walls just because they can chop up a space, but I love the third image. That's a little chopping up I can get down with.
All depends on context. My (rented) bathrooms are both grey (noisy/speckled/fake marble walls and floors). The rooms are cold -though clean looking- and look like hotel bathrooms.
If/when I buy this flat the first thing I'd do is inject a load of colour and warmth into them!
I'm working up the courage to paint my now (dark-ish lime green) accent wall a nice grey. Loving the first image.
Oh, and these all look great I think, plenty of colour and warmth(wood) to compliment the bold greys.
#5 is Newburg Green, a dark blue/green. Not gray.
I painted my living room a darker grey (though not quite as dark as the third picture above). Before I did it everyone said that I was crazy, that it would be too dark etc. but now I always get compliments.
I was very careful not to make other tones carry through, not make it too blue or too warm, and it worked. But the walls do change a bit depending on the light and in the evening people have mistaken them for green, purple and kahki respectively. I'd say it is a bit more like a pencil, or a darker cement - perhaps somewhat of a mix between picture one and three.
Needless to say I love my grey room!
I love #1. I think it's because of the lighter wood floors and the warm chandelier thingy. I love grey, but am not good at picking it out myself.
Grey is so wonderful, but you really have to test the color in your room before you paint. It can go blue, purple, brown, or green so fast!
My favorite greys are Ashes and Elephant Skin from Behr. Here's my room with both!

I love gray rooms !!
The third picture seems white to me though.
Oh I see there is one gray wall in the third one, ok. lol
I love gray. I painted one wall gray in the LR, because that wall becomes part of the hall, which I wanted to paint a color. It's MS Sandpiper, which doesn't look gray on the card, but is on the wall. The rest of the LR walls & ceiling are RL Pocket Watch White. The front door opens to face it, and each time I walk in, I have to admire that wall. Haven't tired of it yet.
My living room is BM Stonington Gray (warmed up with pale golds and beiges and wood), our hallway is BM Moonshine and my son's room is BM Gray Horse. I love them all for different reasons and wouldn't exchange them in any room. Gray is awesome!
I have lived in my apartment for about 6 years now, and I finally painted my living room within the last year from that default yellowish white to a nice pale cool gray. Not only does it make the room cozier, all the colors in the room look so much better against it. I only wish I had done it sooner. Go gray!
Love grey It is the perfect backdrop to any color and that is why I have a different version of it in all the rooms of my house
We just had our apartment painted gray last week! It's an alcove studio, and we chose Benjamin Moore sleigh bells (1480) for all the walls in the main space, with one accent wall that is halfway between cos cob stonewall (1483) & ashwood moss (1484). Our painter suggested white dove for the ceiling and trim and we think the apartment looks incredible! We have a lot of brightly colored textiles from India (curtains, tablecloth, etc) and the gray is the perfect backdrop for the jewel tones. Love it!
Gah I love #1!!
Does anyone know the exact link to find the color, maybes? Decor8 isn't the easiest to search.
Ditto, Judochop. I gotta know what the paint color in #1 is! Everything about that image is absolutely perfect.
