This month is all about furniture at Apartment Therapy and, specifically, decor styles. I thought it would be fun to see how some of the "adult" decor trends are translated into children's spaces. First up: Classic Glam.
Upholstered headboards, chevron and scroll patterns, mirrors and metallics abound. These rooms embrace black and white accents and animal prints. An unabashed use of pink is welcomed. Here are several glammed up nurseries we've seen here at Apartment Therapy:

Nomade Express Slee...
Very nice!!
Love it. Really it is a great mix of style plus practicality for a kid's room. It’s awesome and hoping to have this kind of room decoration for my cute baby girl.
This is more for the parents than the kids. I don't think kids care all that much about their room decoration, at least until they are closer to their teens.
Don't think that kids wouldn't care or appreciate beautiful rooms like these. We have custody of my five year old niece and she watches HGTV with me and often looks at this website while I'm on it. She'll ohh and ahh and comment on how beautiful rooms look. I just wish we had the space to set her up a room like she'd want.
@Suzy8Track - I completely disagree. I would have adored a room like #1 when I was a child. I remember tearful arguments with my parents over Hollie Hobbie wallpaper when I was about 6 (they ignored me and went with a small daisy-sprig print, thank God).
@KRGR1428 - It's wonderful of you to take in your niece. That'll make more difference to her than anything you do to her room. :)
