I was in Nebraska this past weekend, surrounded by milk pails, egg baskets and something called "Cornhuskers." These brass items seem super high-end and luxurious in comparison.

• Reston, VA: Milo Baughman Dining Set - $500

"These brass items seem super high-end and luxurious in comparison." Wow, that's just rude and condescending.
I'm sorry you read it that way! But I don't think it's terrible to say that a living room of brass lamps is more luxurious than milking cows on a farm. Maybe you thought I preferred high-end settings to a more rural one? Not true. (Although I will admit to not understanding the fervor over Nebraska Cornhuskers. I prefer watching tennis, which doesn't have mascots.)
