Gift giving doesn't have to be limited to your friends and family. And if there's ever a time when re-gifting is completely kosher, it's when you've got some unused or older tech devices to donate to those in need. Share the love this season and donate some of your old and unused tech for a good cause with one of these options below...
Gifts Of Giving
Donate your old tech to a good cause to help someone in need. Whether it's handing down and re-using your tech or giving it to an organization that works for a greater good, any little gesture helps.

Recycle
If you can't give it away (too old, too broken), give a gift to mother nature by recycling your old tech instead of throwing it out.

Sprout Side Table
Can't resist making a pitch for The ONE-SHOT Project. If you've upgraded camera gear and have an older camera to donate, we'd love to put it to good use. There are thousands (millions?!) of unused point and shoot cameras hiding away in drawers. They can have a huge impact! We work with kids on the margins in northern Iraq, and will soon be working with kids in Chile who were impacted by the 2010 earthquakes and still aren't on their feet. We teach photography and peacemaking skills, and generally give kids a means to discover (often for the first time) that they're amazing! We aren't the only organization working with kids and photography... Google can help you find a group near you. If you don't find a group near you, then consider checking out our website. www.theoneshotproject.com
