Maybe you have a collection of sweet doll clothes stored away that you played with as a child. Or maybe you found a stash of vintage doll clothes at the thrift store. Toss each little outfit into a frame with some stylish paper as a backdrop, arrange a cluster of them on the wall and you have some pretty unique wall art for a kid’s space.
We saw this on the Do It Yourself blog by Better Homes & Gardens as part of their gallery of bedroom decorating ideas. You can see another approach we posted about a couple of years ago, that uses a mini clothesline.

Shaw's Original Fir...
I actually did this about two years ago! Though instead I bought really cheap Barbie dolls, which I then dismembered and sprayed black. Bought shadow boxes, dressed the "dress forms", and hung them in my daughter's room! The doll clothes are vintage clothes that my grandmother made for my mother's dolls. I used them as well. They had been sitting in my cedar chest and I was wanting to find a way to showcase how fabulous they are.

cwatsony - those are fabulous! Nicely done.
Jackie I admire your fine sense of style and colour. You seem to live inside kid's heads some of the time.
