Inexpensive, colorful, tempting - Japanese yuzen paper is a good thing. This patterned paper is usually used as a decorative accent for book binding, as envelope linings, for crafts such as paper dolls and boxmaking. Yuzen or chiyogami is available in numerous colors, and is an inexpensive way to introduce a bit of color to a room as artwork. The photo above, from the Rag & Bone blog shows it wrapped around canvases, like wrapped presents for your walls. This simple way of displaying the paper is appealing because it gives the paper some dimension, creating an object instead of the expected flat, framed paper presentation.
