Frank sent us an email: "We have a smallish yard but would like to install some sort of mini-playground for our three-year-old daughter. Do you have suggestions for a space about 12" x 12"?"
That's a good question, Frank!
While most of us would love to have a gigantic playground for our kids, space is often a factor in what we can realistically install -- even more so if you have patio furniture and a garden.
We found Royal Palace Space Saver to be a nice higher-end set, while Little Tykes' Endless Adventures Adjustable Mountain Climber set is fun and only $259. If you have a tree, a old-fashioned tire swing is also a nice option.
What can you recommend to Frank, savvy readers?

Frank,
I would look at equipment geared toward commercial users, like daycares. They are built to withstand more use and are more euro in design, which makes them smaller in general. communityplaythings.com is one example. discountschoolsupply.com is another.
