Jeffery writes,"I was just wondering if you had any ideas for hip cool recycling bins that I can keep in my kitchen. I have a pretty small kitchen but I definitely want something cool and modern. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated."
Hi Jeffery, thanks for your question. We're not sure how small you need to go but this Stainless Steel trash and recycling bin with 2 doors - is a handsome choice from Target.com but a little pricey at $99.99. They also had this one listed
as the Smart Can Recycle claiming "it's perfect for bottles and cans". We can't tell by the photo why it would be different than other garbage pails but it does have a nice shape and at $34.99 it's a good price as well.
Anyone else with a good recycle bin?

i used to use the Sortera bins from Ikea and they worked quite nicely. they stack on top of each other and i designated one for paper goods and the other for bottles and cans. and theyre only $8!

hope that link works!
I wish I could afford the Ecopod that ATLA posted awhile back! It's $328 at Williams-Sonoma.
that 2-bin can from target....argh, i've emailed them about the 3-bin one they have in that same collection, and they can't tell me anything about how to order it! it's on their site, but doesn't have its own page, order #, nada. wah, i want it! it's so perfect for garbage, glass/plastic, and paper. why don't more companies make a cool looking 3-bin option? or...do they? my google-fu might be on the fritz...
Reading through the reviews of that recycling bin makes me think it might be a good idea to search for another solution.
I think Binvention is a pretty neat product.

I'm fond of the simplehuman butterfly recycling receptacle because of it's space saving form factor. Expensive, but it comes with a 10-year warranty. That's impressive.
