Hello AT, I have been having trouble finding a reliable handyman. My big problem is that they don't seem to have a sense of being on time or sometimes even showing up on the scheduled day! Showing up late not only screws up our whole schedule, it also then just shadows any quality in the work that they actually do get done. I don't mean to blame all handymen, but we're on our third try and it's not fun. Is this normal or just a bout of bad luck? Does anyone have any recommendations for handymen in the Pasadena/Eagle Rock area?

Based on Sera's recommendation, I tried Mr. Handyman for a project yesterday (replacement of the exterior casing on a window), and I was SO happy with their work. Brandon, my Mr. Handyman, was young but experienced and did a great job. It worked out to about $100/hour plus $100 of materials, which seemed very reasonable to me. And they're insured and the work comes with a one-year guarantee. I'm sold!
