I just moved into a condo which is gorgeous and newly renovated, but I hate the kitchen. It's very nice, but the cabinets are not my taste. I'd much rather them be white. I'm going to be living here for 6years and then selling, so I don't want to live with a kitchen I dislike, but I also don't want to 'wreck' the kitchen so that it loses value. Would painting everything white make the kitchen less desirable to potential buyers? And, is this going to be a difficult project? I'm not a DIY person, but I'm not afraid of getting my hands dirty. Thanks, Tamar
Looking at your counter tops we would not advise painting your cabinets white. Your granite [?] counter tops would clash greatly with the white, which we're assuming you are attempting to match the appliances? We have seen doors of cabinets taken off so that the shelving is exposed, sometimes it works well. If you went that route you could then keep your doors for your sale later on. Our vote is try and expose the shelving by removing the doors, painting the walls something fun and leaving the rest alone. Readers? what's your input?
