This is very similar to a Waverly pattern called Essence Onyx. I have curtains in that fabric; I got then on ebay. I think Bed, Bath, and Beyond used to carry them, but I think they might be discontinued there. I'm not sure if Waverly makes a shower curtain in the same design, but if you're using a plastic liner, you could probably adapt the window curtain as a shower curtain. Or, fabric web sites sell the Waverly Essence Onyx fabric, too.

Alternatively, you could print out the pattern in the size blocks you want, buy a showercurtained-sized piece of clear vinyl, and then stencil it on yourself with permanent marker. I did this recently to my shower door (it was ugly and charmless) with a cherry blossom design. Plus, that way you'd get exactly what you want.

Shower curtains are easy to sew, just 4 hems and some buttonholes. So even if you can't do it yourself, paying someone to make it shouldn't be too pricey.

Tonic Living (Canadian firm!) sells a fabric that is close to what you seek. If you are willing to make your own then you can buy fabric here and use a liner.

And yes, this firm calls the pattern "damask" too.

P.S. I just "made" cafe curtains for my kitchen using two dish towels and these rings with clips - no idea what they are called but they are available easily in hardware stores. If you can just sew the edges, you can hang up your "curtain" using these.

susiequeue's correct - this is a damask not a toile - if you google 'damask shower curtain' there's quite a few choices although I didn't see a black and white one in the first few sites I clicked but some very similar coloured ones.

Since your in Canada...... The Debbie Travis line at good ol' Canadian Tire has a shower curtain in this pattern. Black and white, very bold.

I believe they also have some other matching bathroom accessories there to go along with it.

Shades of Light has a similar pattern in drapes, and they offer custom sizing.

For the record, this is probably technically a damask *pattern* since in a true damask, the pattern is actually achieved with the weave (versus being printed on).

But yeah, this is definitely not a toile.

Yeah, a toile would be little black-and-white sketches of 1800's young men courting young ladies in the countryside wearing clothes that should only be worn indoors, and they're sometimes shown in black-on-white; sometimes blue-on-white, sometimes red-on-white with parts of the background on apple green, etc.
