Hello AT,
I would like to print, on canvas, and stretch over some frames a few photographs I have manipulated in Photoshop, then overlay the canvases with tissue and modge podge to give them some texture.
I had a large format inkjet printer at my previous job that created 42 wide canvases. Does anyone know of a printer, resource or store that prints images on canvases at a reasonable price?...

I would also like to make the prints as large as possible. Does anyone know the largest width canvas the large format printers can produce?
Sincerely,
Jeff
Dear Jeff,
Here are a few links that will be of help and the top one should do the trick completely:
• MyBiggerPicture.com
• The Rasterbator
• The C Lab
Can anyone help out more on this one??

winkflash.com can print up to 24x36 - not too large really, but really affordable
I use my neighbor's business, Print Lust.

They're great and do a variety of sizes. (I have this in 24x36 in my apartment.)

If you have your photography up on DeviantArt you can create a store and "sell" a canvas print to yourself. I don't know the available sizes or prices but there are several to choose from. My sister had one of her photos printed on a small canvas to give as a gift to someone and it looked really good.
you can also try Duggal Digital.. I know for a fact they can do this, just not sure of the cost.

simplycanvas.com
pixel2canvas.com
smugmug.com
in order of personal preferance.
I'm looking at Ritz Camera and Wolf Camera (same company, different name depending on region) sales booklet right now.
They offer Canvas enlargements (treated to resemble oil painting) in sizes fomr 11x14 to 24x30 starting at129.95
Photo on canvas with a textured canvas look - same sizes starting at 59.95

duggal's quality is amazing, but i had a bad experience with them. it won't deter me, though, since it was a teensy scanning job.
i'm looking for exactly the same thing, though... not canvas, per se, but large prints. i always use ofoto.com, but they only print to 20x30. BUT, a 20x30 is only $20 and the quality is really good.
woo wee! anything beyond 40" in width certainly gets expensive!
thanks for all of the suggestions guys! any more would be greatly appreciated!
Jeff, this image is beautiful. I am not sure any of the suggestions about would be large enough for you. My impression was that you want it really big, and it would look great really big.
I had great success one time buy a large canvas at a craft store. The canvas was about 5 feet by 5 feet. I'm way too lazy to stretch a canvas that large. The canvas was around $21.00.
I hung the canvas on a wall and projected my photo onto the canvas with an overhead projector. I am sure there are more techie ways to do that these days. Anyway, then I proceeded to draw and paint the image. Lots of fun and turned out great. I never did experiment with air brushing, but I'd like to.
Also, are there any custom air brush shops in your city? We have them here and they will air brush any image onto canvas.
Good luck! I'd love to see a post of what you decide and with your art hanging in your place.
that's brilliant! so many of my friends have used projectors to create items on their walls, but using a projector for a canvas never crossed my mind.
definitely a new contender in the "create jeff's giant canvas" race!
Go to your local art school and commission one of the students to do it.
I'm not sure of the size, but CB2 makes canvas posters from your pic-- positioned as a teen thing, but make it your own!
Also I've been intrigued with making wallpaper from images, probably not the best to "modge podge" on, but then again, decoupage is just layers....
this is one link..
