Hello AT,
Can anyone identify these fold out sleeper couches? They were shown recently on HG's SSBS.
I need a foldout couch with clean lines and that is not too bulky...
Thanks! Ann

try cb2: http://www.cb2.com/family.aspx?c=102&f=3492&viewall=1
Cannot identify this bed, but I can recommend some options. Check out the CB2 Web site and take a look at the Lubi daybed and the see-saw sofa. nice lines on both, fairly priced as well. I've had my eye on the Lubi for months—just bought lots of other things first.
Don't know how expensive BoConcept is in the States, but their cheapest sofa is a fold-down sleeper with fold-up arms and it's quite comfy. http://www.boconcept.fr/default.aspx?id=74775&ImageID=1099
(When I say "cheap", I mean still quite expensive but within the bounds of reason.)
Looks like the BoConcept Zen sofa to me. I bought it last year for around $800. When folded out, it's slightly smaller than a full sized bed. The sofa is very firm - which I love - not cushy that you can sink into. The upholstery is microfiber - which again suits me fine but see other threads for pros and cons. Bottomline - I really like this piece.
this is similar...

I have recently viewed several..here is what I found in my search
Room and board, this one is great, comfy, looked good but it folds out to about a full size bed (actually the sales woman said is was just under a full size), I wanted a queen.

DWR
http://dwr.com/productdetail.cfm?id=6723 This one was also a bit small
This was is phenomenal because it seemlessly folds out to queen size but we sort of hated the look of it (ie: the feet)

Also, I looked at the one at Ligne Roset, also a nice option. If you dont' mind the "futon" look several of these places have version that fold out lower to the floor, but my parents are older and I didn't want to do that to them when they came to visit. Good luck
i bought a supercheap version of this--350--two years ago. i will look through my receipts to see where i got it and let you know.
I beg to differ with designerny. I test drove R&B one this weekend and it was like sitting on a concrete slab. Horribly uncomfortable.
Again, another similar one...

While it may look a lot like a Zen Bo Concept, it isn't...
The grey sofa above is inside a frame, the Bo Concept isn't..

I have one very similar from The Door store. price wass around $700 on sale with scotchguard protection. I'm very happy with it so far. Fortunately we haven't spilled anything so I haven't yet "tested" the fabric protection...
I got something with a similar look, but not this exact thing, at In Your Element.
you can find less expensive options at futon stores. i can't think of the brand name but they make futons and couches like this. I have one in my office but I wouldn't want it in my home. it looks great but i wouldn't want to sit on it everyday. (great for midday naps)
The beige couch is definitely the BoConcept Zen, but they don't sell them anymore. They have a new design, which I don't think is quite as nice. Sometimes you can find used ones on Craigslist. It is very firm which all my guests have enjoyed, but I can't sleep on it at all. But as a couch I love it!
The top sofa looks kind of like the Slide model at 'apt'.

It's a little hard to tell from the photo, but 'apt' is a great place to start your search. They have like 15 sofa beds to choose from.
My sofa is like the one you are looking for. It was really cheap, just 300 Euros, but I got it from Greece, from a local store named Zouras. I guess I could ask them who the supplier is, in case it's available in your country too.
