Good Questions: Can Lenox Porcelain do Hollywood Regency?

Can I use this lamp base in a Hollywood Regency studio ?
It's Lenox porcelain circa 1940.

I think it's neo-classic and I think it would work for the Hollywood Regency style in a studio apartment.

Unlike Marie, I'm not running for public office, so I can afford to take a definite stand on this Vital Issue for our times. Yes, this lamp will work just fine in a Hollywood Regency room. Add a shiny white Empire shade & a Lucite finial & you're ready to go! Magnaverde.

It's nice. I think it would look good. The shade and finial are key though....

Yes, agreed that the shade is the crucial factor that will make or break the success of this lamp. Empire would work...so might a drum shade. But the shade has to be purposefully chosen, with clean, architectural lines and proportions.
