You talk a lot about collections — and whether to keep them, and how to display them — so I thought maybe someone could field this one. I recently inherited a few old silver spoons (from 1820 or so), and I love them. I think they're beautiful and would love to hang them on the wall (rather than hiding them in a drawer somewhere), but my decor isn't exactly colonial. I'm trying to think of a more modern way to display them than the traditional wooden spoon rack. They are real silver, so I would need to be able to get access to them periodically for polishing purposes. Any brilliant ideas? Thanks!

Editor: Have you thought about using a simple white shadowbox frame? You could either arrange a few in single frame or a single spoon per frame would be an excellent way to display this collection — it's amazing how a simple white frame can transform whatever you place inside. Who else has suggestions for Rachel?
