Hello AT,
I have just purchased some fabulous wallpaper (Cole & Son "Malabar"), and now it needs to be put up. It's a complicated pattern, and I'v never put up wallpaper before, so doing it myself is out of the question.
It is also just for a small wall - about 8 x 10. How do I go about finding a good paper hanger that I can trust to know what they are doing?
Thanks! Christina

Dear Christina,
We've got just the perfect resource for you: Dwo and Company Wallpaper Co.. These folks have done a client's home and they really liked them. Many painting companies will also hang wallpaper and we've also used The Fingers Painting for paint and paper. You could also speak to them.
Anyone else have good Wallpaper Han

We bought Cole and Son wallpaper at the Future Perfect. They recommended a very nice guy (I believe his name was Louis) who hung the paper in their store and does it for a lot of their customers. He did a great job and was very reasonable. If you call Future Perfect they'll have his contact info.
Hi-
I have the same paper (we have good taste!) and am yet to hang it because Dow was a total flake with me. It may have been a fluke, but he didn't return phone calls and once we did have an appt., he didn't show up. good luck.
A very nice man named Alex installed Cole & Sons' Woods wallpaper on two walls of my apartment - his website is http://www.auwallcovering.com/
He did a great job but was initially a little reluctant to take on a job that size; once he saw I wasn't going to freak out about paying a few hundred dollars for a relatively small project (there are two entranceways in the walls, electrical outlets, etc. and I also barely had enough paper since I originally just wanted to do one wall, making it complicated) he could not be nicer to deal with.
He was meticulous about matching the pattern: Although he had to piece together smaller sections of paper to have enough I can't see the joins, not even when looking up close: http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/ny/house-tours/inside-out-elaines-perfect-finds-032727)

I called John Fasano, tel 917.709.4747. John and his partner did a fabulous job; told us how to prep, how much to purchase, etc. Most importantly, they were on time, accurate with estimate... a rarity... I would absolutely call them again... Lovely work.
