Tiffany sent us an email: Do you, or any readers, have any experience with www.eco-furniture.com? (I'm looking at the mezzanine dining chairs and table) I'm nervous to purchase something like furniture online, and I can't find any reviews.
Can you recommend furniture stores in Chicago-if there are any-that are eco-friendly? We need new dining chairs so I figured we might as well buy green...Thanks!

We have not had experience with eco-furniture.com, but we were impressed with the HUGE selection of items they offer. We're hoping to hear more from readers. Another good online selection is available at Vivavi.

A few eco-friendly resources in Chicago: Verde, located at 2100 W. Armitage, offers their own line of sustainable design, as well as some vintage pieces that have been redone - such as a set of Paul Mc Cobb chairs (shown in the photo above the jump).

Pacifica Furniture Co. is located at 2023 W. Carroll Ave. in Chicago. Pete Realmuto produces new furniture, custom work and also does vintage restoration using eco-friendly materials.

Readers, let us know...how is eco-furniture.com? Also, any other suggestions for eco-friendly furniture in Chicago to share?
