Hello, I'd like to buy several of these fixtures to hang over my kitchen island. The design is so simple — just a flood bulb screwed up into a ceramic top portion. I took this photo at a tiny oyster bar in Paris this fall. If only my French was better, I would have asked the staff myself! Does anyone know where I can buy this fixture? Thank you! Kate3

Can't find it, but this is close: Design Within Reach - Drop 1 Pendant
I bet it's French.
To me this looks like a DIY fixture - find a smallish ceramic vase that would just fit over a flood lamp bulb in a bare socket - you would just need to drill a hole to fit the cord.
If you remember the name of the place, I can write and ask them for you, and post the answer.
Thank you everyone for your comments.
That would be great, MelissaDC! The restaurant is Huîtrerie Régis, 3 rue de Montfaucon, Paris, France 75006.
Kate, I'll check this out tomorrow and get back to you.
Hi Kate3,
I called the restaurant in Paris. The light fixtures were designed by the restaurant's architect, Gerard Pras. The owner gave me his cell phone number, if you'd like to talk to him about buying one. I don't want to post the phone number here, but you can reach me at sr(dot)ed(dot)france(at)gmail(dot)com and I'll pass it on.
