Q - Help! I just adore the Lalanne sheep. I know they're a bit controversial, but there's just something so adorable about them that brings a smile to my face every time I see one. But being a New Yorker and thus having less-than-pastural room for one, I've never seriously looked into getting one. However I suddenly find myself in a situation with a room that has extra space to be filled, and my husband just (reluctantly) agreed to let me graze one in the corner...
But now the problem is actually getting one. The real Lalanne sheep are collectors items and sell for $30,000 and up in auctions. And my search for replicas or something similar has hit a dead end. Found a nice version on firstdibs, but at $5k its still twice my budget. And everything else I've found is stone or resin meant for outdoor gardens.
I know this sounds a bit crazy, but anyone seen a good, fluffy life sized sheep sculpture under $3000? Allison
A - Hmmmm. Well, these Sheep Stools from Moss are only $1,200 (you could get two!) Anyone else?
